Assembler I – Production Line

About the role

Moog is seeking an Assembler I to join its San José production facility. The role involves hands‑on work on the assembly line, supporting daily plant operations and ensuring products are built to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain assembly line machinery and equipment at fixed workstations.
• Install components, sub‑assemblies, or finished parts as they move through the line.
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials and finished goods.
• Monitor product quality, identify defective items and trigger re‑work or discard as needed.
• Record daily production data for performance analysis.

Required profile

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent; basic vocational/technical education is a plus.
• Less than one year of relevant experience or demonstrated technical aptitude.
• Ability to follow detailed verbal, visual or written instructions.
• Works well under close supervision in a safety‑focused environment.

Required skills

• Assembly line machinery operation.
• Equipment setup and basic troubleshooting.
• Material handling – moving, packing, sorting.
• Quality monitoring and defect identification.
• Accurate production record keeping.
