About the role

The Point‑of‑Sale Assistant works closely with the Store Manager to ensure the pharmacy operates smoothly, complies with health regulations, and meets sales and service targets in the Guadalupe zone.

Key responsibilities

• Open and close the pharmacy, safeguarding security codes and keys.
• Maintain operational standards, following Ministry of Health and Pharmacy Board requirements.
• Handle cash and value‑management processes according to company procedures.
• Drive sales, control expenses, and achieve margin and KPI goals.
• Apply the customer‑service protocol and resolve client complaints.
• Ensure store and staff presentation meet dress‑code and visual standards.
• Manage inventory: receive merchandise, perform cyclic counts, process returns, and adjust stock for discrepancies, expirations, or losses.
• Communicate product shortages, price competitiveness, and inventory issues to support areas.
• Execute extraordinary orders and coordinate with the logistics centre (CEDI) and suppliers.

Required profile

• Experience in retail pharmacy or similar point‑of‑sale environment.
• Knowledge of local health regulations and pharmacy licensing requirements.
• Ability to work with cash, perform inventory adjustments, and follow operational procedures.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and problem‑solving skills.
