About the role

Amazon is seeking an Area Maintenance Team Lead to supervise facilities associates, ensure safety, and support its distribution network. The role involves hands‑on leadership, problem‑solving, and coordination with operations and contractors.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of facilities associates, enforcing safety protocols and maintenance procedures.
  • Execute and monitor maintenance plans, budgets, and resource usage.
  • Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to resolve maintenance issues and support on‑call emergencies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with operations teams and provide coaching and feedback to team members.

Required profile

  • 2+ years of operations and people management experience.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Experience in reliability or maintenance environments.

Required skills

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • CMMS platforms.
  • Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems.
  • Service Channel and Corrigo tools.
