Architectural Designer

About the role

Gensler is seeking an Architectural Designer to support the Design Director in shaping innovative design concepts. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver projects that balance beauty, functionality, and brand identity.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Design Director and Senior Designer in creating overall design concepts.
• Formulate design presentation strategies and lead multiple design teams through all project phases.
• Collaborate on programming, strategy, conceptual, schematic, and design development stages.
• Produce plans, elevations, details, specifications, and material selections for construction.
• Coordinate with consultants, product representatives, contractors, and vendors to meet project objectives.
• Communicate design ideas clearly to project teams and clients.
• Support client relationship management and office culture initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Architecture, Interior Architecture, or foreign equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in an architectural practice.
• Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office.
• 100% bilingual in English and Spanish with strong verbal communication.
• Working knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and structural systems.
• Experience in construction documentation and design detail development.
