Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst

About the role

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst will act as a senior developer, delivering high‑availability solutions using Java, Angular and Oracle PL/SQL while adhering to Citi’s Engineering Excellence and Manifesto standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java‑based applications, Angular front‑ends and Oracle database components.
• Apply GenAI techniques to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Work with web frameworks such as JSF, Wicket, GWT and Spring MVC.
• Contribute to all phases of the SDLC, ensuring code is testable, efficient and meets specifications.
• Prepare full change‑management releases and produce documentation in English and Portuguese.
• Collaborate with the Technology Lead team and support container‑based deployment environments.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in application development or systems analysis.
• Strong background in finance, risk, statistical modelling or stress‑testing projects.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Proactive, autonomous and able to meet agreed deadlines.
