Application Support Engineer – Fluid and Motion Control Systems

About the role

Emerson is seeking an Application Support Engineer to provide high‑impact technical and customer support for its Fluid and Motion Control product portfolio. You will be the first point of contact for customers, partners, and internal teams, delivering timely and accurate assistance in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and deliver reliable technical solutions that support product selection and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Perform engineering calculations to recommend appropriate products for customer applications.
• Provide world‑class technical and application support to end users, sales teams, distributors, OEMs, and business partners.
• Partner closely with the sales team as a technical advisor and product advocate.
• Respond to technical inquiries via phone, email, and chat for a range of FLMC products including valves, manifolds, fieldbuses, switches, sensors, FRLs, pneumatic solutions, and RCS products.
• Manage pricing inquiries and quotation requests for domestic and international products.
• Collaborate on special projects assigned by team leads and managers.
• Troubleshoot warranty and quality issues, offering practical solutions.
• Maintain organized, up‑to‑date files, quotes, and documentation while meeting service‑level agreements and performance metrics.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in technical support or customer service.
• Technical degree or enrollment in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electronic, or Chemical).
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requests.
• Willingness to continuously learn and expand technical knowledge.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Salesforce, Oracle, or SAP systems.
• Ability to perform engineering‑based calculations for product recommendations.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.
