Android Developer

About the role

Experian is looking for an Android Developer to join its Consumer Services Mobile Team. You will work on high‑traffic native applications that give millions of users access to their data on the go, while exploring the latest platform technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of Android projects, from design through deployment.
• Participate in the full application lifecycle: concept, design, build, test, release management.
• Write clean, maintainable code and incorporate feedback from code reviews.
• Mentor junior developers and help improve team collaboration.
• Prioritise tasks, solve problems under deadline pressure, and take initiative.
• Collaborate on API contracts with multiple stakeholders.
• Investigate and prototype new technologies and contribute to cross‑team engineering improvements such as build pipelines and monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of proven experience developing Android applications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present technical choices persuasively.
