America Backlog Execution

About the role

This hybrid position at HPE focuses on planning, scheduling and coordinating demand and supply management across the Americas. You will work on‑site two days a week from the Heredia office and collaborate with global business units to execute backlog and improve supply chain processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex supply chain processes including inventory analysis, demand planning, import/export operations and sales‑and‑operations planning.
• Identify process improvement opportunities, develop recommendations and drive execution across cross‑functional teams.
• Prioritize backlog, match demand and supply, and monitor performance metrics to ensure on‑time delivery and cost efficiency.
• Partner with global business units and supply bases to generate demand signals and maintain regulatory trade compliance.

Required profile

• University degree (advanced degree preferred) with 6‑10 years of supply chain experience.
• Strong business acumen, project management skills and ability to lead cross‑functional teams in multiple geographies.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills in English and the local language.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) for statistical analysis and financial modelling.
• Deep knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Available to Promise (ATP) and master scheduling.
• Understanding of national and international trade requirements and trade‑compliance program management.
• Inventory modelling and analysis expertise.
