Agentic Elixir Engineer – Remote – Latin America

About the role

FullStackFullStack is seeking an Agentic Elixir Engineer to join its talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers on high‑impact projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Elixir applications for complex, large‑scale systems.
• Design and implement RESTful web services and integrate third‑party APIs.
• Work with PostgreSQL and other SQL databases to ensure data integrity.
• Leverage AI engineering tools (e.g., OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, Gemini CLI) to accelerate development.
• Prompt, review, and integrate AI‑generated code while maintaining quality and performance.
• Orchestrate AI‑assisted workflows and implement code agents to automate engineering tasks.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and support Agile/Scrum processes.
• Take extreme ownership of deliverables and meet a 40‑hour weekly commitment.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience building applications with Elixir.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Proven experience with RESTful services, PostgreSQL, and AI‑assisted development.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and a positive, can‑do attitude.
• Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams and large, complex systems.
