About the role

Grupo Dökka is looking for a Category Manager with a pharmacy background to lead the profitability and market‑share strategy of assigned product categories across its distribution channels in Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Panama.

Key responsibilities

• Design negotiation strategies that maximize supplier investments for the three countries.
• Develop commercial strategies for each assigned category per channel.
• Lead cross‑functional committees to create action plans that meet commercial team and channel objectives.
• Generate plans to limit cost increases of products within the managed categories.
• Optimize commercial investment funds to ensure expected returns for laboratories and company profit.
• Lead the S&OP process for each channel’s commercial dynamics.
• Create business plans to expand supplier commercialization across all Dökka channels.
• Develop business cases to attract and increase exclusive supplier relationships.
• Perform any other assignments requested by management.

Required profile

• Pharmacist with experience in commercial or analytical roles.
• Proven experience in category management and key‑account development within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools, Oracle and advanced Excel is desirable.
