Accounting Analyst – Regional Finance

About the role

The Accounting Analyst is responsible for activities related to the various entities within a region, requiring a solid understanding of complex accounting matters, quick problem‑solving skills and strong collaboration with finance and non‑finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare manual journals as needed with adequate supporting documentation.
• Prepare reserves such as E&O, NRV for complex entities.
• Perform complex accounting variance analysis.
• Complete account reconciliations in Blackline by established deadlines.
• Respond to queries from local country finance promptly.
• Provide audit support as required.
• Support regional and global reporting requirements, including monthly Balance Sheet & P&L flux analysis.
• Assist in monthly/quarterly/annual close processes.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, internal/external audit requirements and local regulations.
• Support local, regional and global projects.
• Identify and drive continuous process improvement opportunities.
• Manage PPV, PII, IRV processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field, or 50‑75% of career completed.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting or inventory accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Background in manufacturing accounting and experience in a multinational environment or audit.
• Good knowledge of US GAAP.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; fluent in written and spoken English.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
• Experience with JDE, Blackline, Alteryx and W‑Desk is an advantage.
