Accountant (100% Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage day‑to‑day bookkeeping and support month‑end close for a remote client. The role involves maintaining clean, accurate financial records across multiple workflows while ensuring confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank and credit‑card statements.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
• Assist with monthly financial reports and cash‑flow tracking.
• Support payroll preparation and contractor payments.
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue invoices.
• Organize financial documentation and maintain compliance records.
• Collaborate with accountants and internal teams during month‑end close.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Bookkeeper or Accounting Assistant.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Reliable, process‑driven with strong follow‑through.
• Intermediate to advanced English communication skills.

Required skills

• QuickBooks (required).
• Google Workspace or Microsoft Excel.
