Account Manager – Fintech & Crypto Client-Facing Role

About the role

Veta Virtual is seeking an Account Manager to serve a portfolio of fintech and cryptocurrency clients. This remote, client‑facing position focuses on building lasting relationships, ensuring retention, and driving revenue growth through proactive support and strategic upselling.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts across phone, email, chat, and meetings.
• Develop deep knowledge of each client’s goals and challenges to deliver tailored value.
• Conduct regular check‑ins, account reviews, and performance updates.
• Own the retention strategy, identify churn risks early, and manage end‑to‑end contract renewals.
• Lead renegotiations and coordinate with Legal, Finance, Compliance, and Sales teams.
• Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with Operations, Support, Product, Compliance, and Engineering for timely resolutions.
• Identify and close upsell and cross‑sell opportunities, maintaining an active expansion pipeline.
• Maintain accurate account records, communication logs, and pipeline data in the CRM.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or a similar B2B client‑facing role.
• Proven ability to manage contract renewals and retain a book of business.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client‑focused mindset.
