Account Manager (Events + Marketing)

About the role

You will lead events, marketing initiatives and client relationships within the Production team, working closely with the Production Lead and internal stakeholders. This remote contractor position involves managing projects from kickoff to launch and stepping in to execute when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Own events, podcasts, fellowships and community programs, handling vendors, speakers, contracts and post‑event follow‑up.
• Drive marketing and content initiatives, collaborating on campaigns, newsletters, launches and promotions.
• Manage projects and partnerships through planning, execution and launch, with clear owners, timelines and success metrics.
• Lead client, partner and vendor meetings, keeping scope and expectations transparent.
• Maintain trackers, dashboards, reports and accurate CRM records for team visibility.
• Implement AI‑enabled workflows to reduce manual reporting, research and planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading multiple projects and managing clients or external partners, preferably in events, marketing, production, agency or media.
• Hands‑on execution ability – drafting updates, building trackers and preparing reports yourself when needed.
• Clear written and spoken communication, confident representation of the company in meetings.
• Sound judgment with the ability to make day‑to‑day decisions, flag risks early and escalate strategic issues.

Required skills

• Experience using a CRM system.
• Proficiency with project tools such as Notion or ClickUp.
