Travel Consultant – ERM (Heredia, Costa Rica)

About the role

The Travel Consultant – ERM provides expert travel advice and support to business customers, handling inquiries through phone, email and other channels. Based in Heredia, you will act as the primary point of contact, ensuring seamless travel arrangements and delivering service that exceeds client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Search, book and confirm travel reservations for customers.
• Manage crew movements, rotations and handle travel disruptions.
• Provide customers with industry information such as low fares, exchange costs, penalties and visa requirements.
• Respond promptly to inquiries, offering focused and attentive assistance.
• Collaborate with team members across regions to meet individual and team goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in ERM, marine, offshore, or crew travel environments.
• Hands‑on expertise in managing crew movements, rotations and disruption handling.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, 24/7 service setting.
• Effective collaboration within a global, multi‑regional operations setup.

Required skills

• Amadeus GDS.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Solid knowledge of travel industry policies, procedures and processes.
