Territory Manager – Central America & Ecuador

About the role

The client, a leading international agrochemical company, is seeking a Territory Manager to lead commercial activities across Central America and Ecuador. Based in Costa Rica, the role involves frequent regional travel and close collaboration with distributors and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute the commercial strategy for the assigned region.
• Manage key distributor and strategic customer relationships.
• Drive sales growth, profitability, and pricing strategies.
• Coordinate demand planning and ensure alignment with the supply chain.
• Oversee regulatory and product registration activities.
• Lead and mentor local commercial and technical teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related field (MBA a plus).
• 8–12+ years of experience in the agrochemicals/crop protection industry.
• Strong commercial management experience in Latin America.
• Established network within the regional agricultural market.
• Experience managing distributors and regional operations.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and registration processes.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong negotiation skills.
