Team Lead - Data Operations

About the role

Moody's is seeking a Team Lead for Data Operations to work closely with senior managers and oversee a group of associates. The role focuses on ensuring data consistency and accuracy across the organization while supporting the company’s AI‑driven risk assessment initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of associates to maintain high‑quality data processing.
• Ensure data consistency and accuracy across all operational streams.
• Collaborate with senior managers to align initiatives and drive strategic projects.
• Dissect complex problems, build consensus across departments, and advance initiatives with minimal supervision.
• Communicate complex business concepts clearly to senior audiences and stakeholders.

Required profile

• 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably in financial services or financial data/process management.
• Proven track record in operational effectiveness and prior supervisory or management experience.
• Strong strategic and tactical management abilities with a self‑starter mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in fast‑paced environments.
• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and interest in responsible AI practices.
• Undergraduate degree required; Master’s degree preferred, ideally in a financial discipline.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Basic knowledge of AI concepts and curiosity about AI tools for process improvement.
