Supervisor, Invoice Processing AP

About the role

Baxter is looking for a supervisor for its Accounts Payable invoice processing function. The role supervises a team of about 10 to 15 invoice processors, ensures service level agreements are met and drives a culture of service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise invoice entry, debit and credit memos so that invoices are recorded accurately and processed on time
• Perform data entry and keying into payable systems as needed
• Help the team with VAT and invoice coding, ensuring the correct GL accounts and VAT taxes are recorded
• Maintain a motivated team, provide training, coaching and performance reviews, and approve evaluations
• Help the team meet daily processing quotas while maintaining quality
• Resolve invoice processing exceptions and escalations
• Organize team meetings and partner with in-country personnel and Customer Services to distribute workload and adopt agreed channel strategies
• Handle record retention, tracking and reporting for tax purposes, and propose continuous process improvements
• Review and propose changes to AP policies and procedures, support country transitions into the GBS, and contribute to performance metrics

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in public accounting, finance or business administration
• 5+ years of experience in related fields, including at least two years in an Accounts Payable team
• Advanced English (B2)
• Ability to plan, assign and direct work and meet strict deadlines

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of invoice processing and proficiency in the end-to-end Accounts Payable process
• Knowledge of Power BI, reporting tools and AI technologies
• Understanding of Accounts Payable best practices
