Sr. Data QA Engineer

About the role

Moody's is seeking a Senior Data QA Engineer to lead data quality engineering across its products and platforms. The role focuses on ensuring reliable, accurate data that meets the needs of data consumers while advancing AI‑driven quality solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive data test strategies and automated frameworks using dbt and Python.
• Maintain data quality libraries, conduct code reviews, and provide actionable feedback.
• Debug data quality issues, identify root causes, and coordinate resolutions across teams.
• Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to embed quality checks into CI/CD pipelines.
• Leverage AI tools to streamline testing workflows and promote responsible AI use.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong decision‑making, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
• Proven capacity to influence change and guide best‑practice standards.
• Commitment to ethical AI and data risk management.
