Sr. AI Software Engineer

About the role

Join a leading vehicle data platform and design high‑scale, cloud‑native systems that process millions of vehicle history and transaction requests daily. The role blends distributed systems engineering with AI‑assisted development, allowing you to shape core platform architecture and next‑generation intelligent engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver high‑performance, low‑latency APIs and microservices for vehicle history, VIN intelligence, and transaction systems.
• Build and scale Java/Spring Boot services in AWS, handling high‑throughput, real‑time workloads.
• Architect event‑driven systems using Kafka, SQS or similar technologies.
• Lead development of complex features, platform enhancements and proof‑of‑concepts.
• Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability and monitoring.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews and contribute to engineering culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years building large‑scale, distributed, high‑volume transactional systems.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture and REST API design.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services, containers and networking.
• Experience with event‑driven architectures (Kafka, SQS, ActiveMQ).
• Proficiency with observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace or Datadog.
