Social Media Manager (Remote, Latin America)

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of organic social media strategies.
• Create, schedule, publish, and manage content across relevant platforms.
• Monitor comments, engagement, conversations, and community activity.
• Identify emerging trends, topics, hooks, and content formats to increase reach.
• Research competitors, creators, communities, and successful social media tactics.
• Collaborate with copywriting, marketing, and internal teams on content initiatives.
• Maintain an organized and consistent social media content calendar.
• Track basic performance metrics and suggest improvements.
• Participate actively in brainstorming sessions and contribute new content ideas.
• Take ownership of additional marketing responsibilities as experience grows.

Required profile

• Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, content, and online communities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with professional English proficiency.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, dependable, and comfortable taking initiative in a fully remote setting.
• Curiosity about social media trends, content formats, and audience behavior.
• Availability to work full‑time during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
• Previous internship, freelance, agency, or professional experience in social media or digital marketing is a plus.
• Familiarity with social media scheduling/management platforms and basic analytics.
