Senior Technical Program Manager – MES & Enterprise Integrations

About the role

The Senior Technical Program Manager will lead the MES workstream of a multi‑year SAP S/4HANA transformation, overseeing delivery, budget, vendors and end‑to‑end integrations. The role requires strong IT project management experience and a solid understanding of manufacturing technology.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and run complex IT projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources and risk across multiple workstreams and sites.
• Run project governance including status reports, risk and issue logs, change control and steering committee updates.
• Oversee end‑to‑end integrations between ERP and other enterprise applications, coordinating connectivity, interface development and integration readiness.
• Lead MES and integration readiness through design, build, SIT, UAT, validation, cut‑over, go‑live and hyper‑care phases.
• Coordinate resolution of integration issues, lead root‑cause analysis and drive continuous improvement.
• Build and manage the annual integration budget, track spending and plan resources for releases and post‑go‑live support.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of IT project or program management experience on large, complex technology projects.
• Proven ownership of scope, schedule, budget, vendors and teams with on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Strong communication and executive stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Project management tools: Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet.
• Integration technologies: APIs, middleware, cloud platforms, data exchange standards.
• Experience with ERP platforms and enterprise application integrations, especially SAP S/4HANA.
• Familiarity with MES platforms such as Werum PAS‑X, Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk or SAP Digital Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of integration tools like SAP BTP, AWS, EDI or API management platforms.
