Senior Technical Consultant

About the role

Cornerstone is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant for a hybrid role based in Costa Rica. The consultant will lead complex functional and technical workstreams, translating business priorities into scalable SaaS solutions and measurable outcomes. The role requires operating independently in ambiguous environments and providing delivery assurance across multiple domains.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery, outcome definition, process and solution design workshops, and critical decision forums.
• Own solution quality across configuration, data, integrations, migration, identity, security, testing, cutover, adoption and support transition.
• Challenge low‑value customisations, present trade‑offs and recommendations to customers and internal leaders.
• Coordinate product, engineering, support, partners and customer technical teams to resolve complex delivery scenarios.
• Coach consultants, support pre‑sales advisory conversations and identify expansion opportunities tied to customer outcomes.

Required profile

• Typically 6+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS consulting and implementation, including leadership of complex customer workstreams.
• Demonstrated ability to apply business, market and industry knowledge to solution design, risk management and value realisation.
• Experience delivering across Enterprise, Mid‑Market and Small Business segments.
• Background in HCM, learning, talent or related HR technology platforms is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; relevant certifications are a plus.
