Senior Security Engineer - Remote

About the role

Join BairesDev as a Senior Security Engineer to lead supply chain and cloud‑native security across hundreds of services. You will design hardened container images, secure Kubernetes workloads, and build Go‑based automation while collaborating directly with engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design hardened container base images and secure Kubernetes workloads at scale.
• Develop Go‑based security automation tools and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive vulnerability remediation through Git PR workflows, including committing patches.
• Perform SCA, SAST, and DAST triage, moving vulnerabilities from discovery to patch.
• Harden IaC templates, Helm charts, and CI/CD pipelines against supply‑chain risks.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a security focus.
• Strong proficiency in Go for building security automation.
• Hands‑on experience with container security, Kubernetes runtime security, and admission controllers.
• Experience in large‑scale dependency vulnerability remediation (SCA, SAST, DAST).
• Background in supply‑chain security, CI/CD hardening, and IaC.
• Advanced English proficiency.
