Senior React/Node.js Engineer

About the role

Coforge is looking for a Senior React/Node.js Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable full‑stack applications. This remote position is based in Costa Rica and focuses on building modern, performance‑driven web experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement full‑stack solutions using React, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Build backend services, REST APIs, and integrate GraphQL or gRPC services.
• Create reusable UI components, dynamic forms, and content‑driven experiences with Next.js and headless CMS platforms.
• Ensure code quality through unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in performance optimization, personalization, and A/B testing initiatives.

Required profile

• 4–5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably full‑stack.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript with hands‑on React and Node.js experience.
• Experience with server‑side rendering frameworks such as Next.js.
• Proven ability to develop backend services, REST APIs, and work with GraphQL or gRPC.
• Familiarity with headless CMS platforms (Contentstack, Contentful, Strapi, etc.).
