Senior Project Manager – R&D Electrophysiology

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead electrophysiology catheter projects from concept through hand‑off to operations. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and direct all project activities to achieve defined objectives.
• Coordinate with engineering, R&D, quality, and external partners to keep the schedule on track.
• Drive ownership and accountability across the team, providing technical guidance as needed.
• Communicate complex project information to stakeholders, customers, and senior management.
• Lead early‑stage quoting and development activities for new business opportunities.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure compliance with Heraeus Quality System.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 8 years of engineering experience, including project management in the medical‑device industry.
• Proven ability to solve problems quickly and travel up to 25 % (Minnesota and Costa Rica).
• Valid passport and visa.
