Senior Production Supervisor – Shift A & B

About the role

The Senior Production Supervisor for Shift A & B will lead the team of production supervisors, ensuring alignment on standards and coordinating cross‑shift resources. This role focuses on developing supervisory talent, managing production planning and hiring plans, and driving key managerial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and develop the team of production supervisors, set expectations, plan workload distribution, and evaluate performance.
• Build and maintain the production plan at shift level, coordinating staffing needs, priorities, and scheduling across Shift A & B.
• Lead the hiring plan for the operation, partnering with HR to anticipate headcount needs and support recruitment timelines.
• Ensure supervisors are trained, coached, and have development plans in place.
• Review production performance data and trends, discuss reports with plant leadership.
• Create and review systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record‑keeping, and budgetary/personnel requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, reinforcing compliance with policies across shifts.
• Resolve personnel and interpersonal issues among supervisors by analyzing data, investigating root causes, and recommending actions.
• Foster cooperation among production supervisors and other departments for smooth cross‑shift handoffs.
• Execute specific continuous‑improvement projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, materials, industrial, or related).
• 2‑5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or a highly regulated industry.
• People‑oriented and results‑oriented with a high sense of urgency.
• Strong leadership and exceptional interpersonal skills.
