Senior Network Engineer – Meraki & Cisco Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our client’s infrastructure team as a dedicated, full‑time resource. The role focuses on managing and modernising Meraki and Cisco networks across multiple office locations while supporting new office build projects.

Key responsibilities

• Day‑to‑day administration, configuration and troubleshooting of Meraki and Cisco network infrastructure.
• Lead low‑voltage and network planning for new and existing office build‑outs.
• Assess, document and maintain current‑state network architecture across all sites.
• Manage change control backlog and own the change management process for network modifications.
• Establish and enforce consistent network and low‑voltage build standards.
• Develop runbooks and standard operating procedures for repeatable network tasks.
• Standardise documentation across locations, addressing legacy MSP environments.
• Provide limited after‑hours and on‑call support to reduce internal team burden.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Cisco and Meraki platforms.
• Proven experience in office build planning, low‑voltage standards and structured cabling oversight.
• Strong background in network architecture documentation and design review.
• Experience managing change control processes in enterprise environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to work independently as an embedded extension of the client team.
• Experience supporting multi‑site enterprise environments, preferably in financial services.
• Willingness to travel to the United States approximately 20 % of the time.
