Senior iOS Developer (Remote – Latin America)

About the role

Coforge is looking for an experienced Senior iOS Developer to join its remote team serving clients across Costa Rica, Peru, Colombia, and Bolivia. You will lead the design, development, and delivery of high‑quality iOS applications while driving architectural excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain iOS apps using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
• Lead feature development from concept through implementation and release.
• Implement scalable architectures such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Dependency Injection.
• Integrate external APIs, backend services, and AI/ML‑powered solutions.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, mocking, and automation.
• Participate in design reviews and architectural decision‑making.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards and mobile platform scalability.

Required profile

• 5‑8+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and the iOS ecosystem.
• Experience with UIKit and/or SwiftUI.
• Deep understanding of modern mobile architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture, DI).
• Hands‑on experience with Swift Concurrency, async/await, and threading.
• Proven ability to integrate APIs, backend services, and AI/ML components.
• Solid testing practices including unit tests, mocking frameworks, and automation.
• Experience working in Scrum or Kanban teams.
• High ownership, independence, and technical accountability.
