Senior Fullstack Engineer (Node/React) – Remote (Colombia/Costa Rica)

About the role

Gorilla Logic is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to design, build, and enhance a client‑facing web application. You will work remotely, collaborating with a fast‑paced Agile team to deliver high‑quality, scalable software while integrating AI‑powered features.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services with Node.js and Fastify.
• Build responsive front‑end interfaces using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Create and integrate Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and other AI solutions.
• Write, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL queries and database structures.
• Participate in code reviews, daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and technical debt.
• Monitor application health, implement scalability improvements, and stay current with emerging technologies.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in full‑stack development within Agile environments.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, self‑motivation, and a solid technical foundation.
• Proven ability to collaborate with designers, QA engineers, product owners, and clients.
• Experience delivering high‑quality, maintainable code at scale.
