About the role

Amazon's Global Finance Solutions (GFS) team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with business leaders, deliver financial insights, and drive operational efficiency across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end financial planning and analysis for assigned GFS business units.
• Lead monthly close processes, MBR/QBR preparations, and variance analysis.
• Drive the annual operating plan (OP1/OP2) and quarterly forecast cycles.
• Design and implement automated solutions for financial reporting and analysis.
• Create and present executive‑ready deliverables to Director and VP‑level audiences.
• Partner cross‑functionally on strategic initiatives and process‑improvement projects.
• Develop robust financial models to support investment decisions and business cases.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in finance or a related analytical field.
• 6+ years applying key financial performance indicators to analyses.
• 6+ years building financial and operational reports that inform decision‑making.
• 6+ years creating process improvements with automation.
• 5+ years of advanced financial modeling experience.
