Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud Engineering (Remote, LATAM)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, automation, and operation of cloud‑native platforms that enable reliable, scalable software delivery. The role bridges software development and infrastructure, emphasizing code‑first solutions and developer productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Develop automation, internal tools, scripts, and services using Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for testing, deployment, and release management.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
• Create and operate containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automate provisioning, deployments, environment configuration, and operational workflows.
• Develop APIs and developer tooling to improve engineering productivity.
• Implement observability solutions (logging, metrics, tracing, monitoring, alerting).
• Apply DevSecOps and cloud security practices across infrastructure and pipelines.
• Troubleshoot production issues and enhance system reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with Software Engineering, QA, Security, Product, and Architecture teams.
• Document infrastructure, deployment processes, and technical decisions.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Software Engineering.
• Strong coding background with professional experience in Python, Go, Bash, or comparable languages.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience implementing IaC using Terraform.
• Solid understanding of cloud security and DevSecOps practices.
