Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud & CI/CD (Shopify, .NET)

About the role

Software Mind is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a client’s e‑commerce replatforming project. You will own the DevOps practice for a distributed, multi‑vendor team, ensuring reliable, secure, and repeatable deployments for a modern Shopify Hydrogen storefront and a .NET‑based microservices backend.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for .NET microservices and Shopify Hydrogen, supporting frequent low‑risk releases.
• Provision and manage AWS infrastructure (compute, networking, messaging, secrets, security) using infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Implement security controls such as WAF/ALB configuration, secrets and key management.
• Support OAuth2/OIDC identity providers for service‑to‑service and customer authentication.
• Set up and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting across microservices and message‑driven workflows.
• Configure asynchronous messaging (queues, topics, dead‑letter handling) for order, inventory and catalog processing.
• Manage environment configuration, versioning and release coordination across multiple workstreams.
• Participate in production issue troubleshooting, define rollback procedures and lead post‑incident reviews.
• Produce clear infrastructure documentation and runbooks.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on DevOps/infrastructure engineering experience, including production support.
• Strong written and oral English (minimum B2, ~90% proficiency).
• Experience working with distributed, multi‑vendor delivery teams.
