Senior Category Manager – Strategic Sourcing (English, Spanish & Portuguese)

About the role

Accenture is seeking a trilingual Senior Category Manager to lead category management, strategic sourcing, and contracting activities across North America and Latin America. The role will translate business priorities into actionable sourcing initiatives and deliver measurable procurement outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain category strategies, roadmaps, sourcing pipelines, stakeholder plans, and supplier strategies aligned with business and procurement priorities.
• Analyze spend, supplier markets, contract coverage, demand patterns and market trends to identify opportunities, risks and value‑creation initiatives.
• Lead complex sourcing initiatives across the Source‑to‑Contract lifecycle, including RFx events, proposal evaluation, negotiations, supplier selection and contracting.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of supplier proposals, commercial models and contracts to support sourcing recommendations.
• Build and manage relationships with business stakeholders, suppliers, Legal and cross‑functional teams across North America and Latin America.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 8‑10 years of experience in category management, strategic sourcing, procurement or related consulting.
• Professional fluency in English, Spanish and Portuguese, with ability to lead discussions in all three languages.
• Proven experience independently leading complex sourcing initiatives and managing multiple workstreams in a global matrix environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with sourcing or procurement platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with AI‑enabled productivity tools and ability to validate AI‑generated outputs.
