About the role
Coforge is looking for an experienced Senior Backend Java Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high‑performance cloud‑native applications. You will work remotely with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, scalable services that power our clients' digital transformation.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and optimise micro‑services deployed on AWS ECS and integrate them with DynamoDB and other data stores.
- Develop and document RESTful APIs, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment.
Required profile
- 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
- Strong hands‑on expertise with Java, Spring Boot, and REST API design.
- Proven experience with AWS services, especially ECS and DynamoDB.
- Solid understanding of SQL, data modelling, and version control using Git.
