About the role
Coforge is looking for a Senior Backend Java Engineer to design, build, and maintain high‑performance backend services. This remote position focuses on Java‑based micro‑services running in the cloud, serving customers worldwide.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and optimise cloud‑native micro‑services deployed on AWS ECS.
- Develop and manage integrations with DynamoDB and other data storage solutions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, performant software.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
