SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) Manager – Global Consulting

About the role

Accenture is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) Senior Consultant to lead complex manufacturing transformation projects for global clients. The role involves designing, implementing, and supporting PP solutions across discrete and repetitive manufacturing environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement SAP S/4HANA PP solutions, covering production orders, BOMs, routings, material master, and batch management.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit‑to‑standard workshops, solution design, testing, deployment and post‑go‑live support.
• Integrate SAP PP with MES, IBP, PLM, QM, MM, BTP and external analytics platforms, ensuring data consistency and traceability.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Planning, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain and Technology stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable SAP solutions.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI, GenAI, automation and analytics to improve PP processes and operational visibility.

Required profile

• 9–15 years of SAP experience with strong functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA Production Planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or related field; MBA preferred.
• English proficiency at C1 level; willingness to travel as required.

Required skills

• SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) – discrete & repetitive manufacturing.
• Master data management: BOM, routing, material master, batch management.
• Integration experience with MES, SAP IBP, PLM, QM, MM, SAP BTP and SAP Fiori.
• Knowledge of engineering change management, alternative BOMs and traceability.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and client‑facing communication abilities.
