SAP FICO & Taxes Consultant – Global Network

About the role

Accenture is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA FICO & Taxes Consultant to support complex finance transformation initiatives in Costa Rica. You will work with cross‑functional teams to design, implement and optimise SAP finance solutions while ensuring compliance with local statutory and tax requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement SAP S/4HANA FICO solutions covering Financial Accounting, Controlling, Cost Accounting, inventory valuation and intercompany processes.
• Support Costa Rica statutory, tax and Free Trade Zone requirements, including PROCOMER reporting.
• Participate in workshops, solution design, testing, deployment and post‑go‑live support.
• Review and optimise product costing, standard costing, year‑end cost rolls and inventory‑related accounting.
• Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Technology stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable SAP solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, Technology or related field (MBA highly desirable).
• Minimum 6 years of SAP FICO experience, preferably with multiple SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong knowledge of Costa Rica tax, statutory and Free Trade Zone regulations, including PROCOMER compliance.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level) and ability to travel if required.

Required skills

• SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) functional expertise.
• Product costing, standard costing, cost centre accounting and inventory valuation.
• Integration knowledge between FICO and MM, SD, PP modules.
• Experience with SAP localisation, electronic invoicing, tax interfaces and reporting.
