Salesforce Sales Cloud & Commerce Cloud Functional Analyst

About the role

Excel Nearshore is hiring a Salesforce Sales Cloud and Web Commerce Functional Analyst for a fully remote, full-time position based in Costa Rica. The role optimizes sales and e-commerce processes in Salesforce Sales Cloud (Lightning) and Commerce Cloud, covering pipelines, orders, revenue forecasting and geolocation integrations, while supporting a medtech client handling regulated data and addressing redundancies with Siebel and silos with Oracle EBS.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and troubleshoot Sales Cloud (Leads, Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Campaigns, Products, forecasting) and Commerce Cloud (catalogs, carts, payments, B2B storefronts, pricing, checkout).
• Build Flows, Process Automation and approval workflows, and optimize lead assignment, opportunity management and sales stages.
• Manage product catalogs, bundles, variants, price books, customer-specific pricing, contracts and promotions.
• Support integrations for inventory, pricing, tax, orders and payments, and handle order submission, lifecycle and post-order management.
• Handle L1/L2 support during business hours (1:00 AM CT Sunday to 7:00 PM CT Friday) and on-call for P1 incidents, and run root cause analysis and CAPA.
• Analyze requirements, run fit-gap assessments and implement integrations with Oracle EBS (MuleSoft/SOA), Google Geolocation, Xactly and other tools.
• Enforce compliance with ISO 27001, HIPAA/GDPR and FDA guidelines, manage RBAC, audits and data encryption.
• Identify Einstein automation and AI opportunities, document configurations, take part in CAB reviews and user training, and support minor development such as Flow Builder and Apex/Visualforce testing.

Required profile

• 7-10 years of functional experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Commerce Cloud in Lightning, including CPQ, Einstein and storefronts.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT or a related field.
• Solid understanding of sales processes and end-to-end sales/commerce flows, including ERP and geolocation integrations in regulated industries.
• Knowledge of healthcare standards (PHI privacy, FDA compliance) and ISO 27001 controls.
• Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM tools; excellent analytical and communication skills.
