Remote Contract DevOps Engineer (10-40 hrs/week)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This remote position offers flexible hours (10‑40 hrs/week) and focuses on building and maintaining cloud‑native infrastructure for multiple clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage resilient, secure, and scalable infrastructure on AWS, Azure, GCP, and DigitalOcean.
• Implement and streamline CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable deployments across environments.
• Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate clusters with Kubernetes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management with Terraform and Ansible.
• Monitor system health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and centralized logging solutions.
• Ensure robust access management and secrets handling leveraging IAM and dedicated secrets‑management tools.

Required profile

• Strong experience in Linux system administration and fundamental networking concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with DigitalOcean, AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Infrastructure‑as‑Code practices.
• Knowledge of IAM principles, secrets management, and security best practices.
• Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
