Remote Clinician – Oncology/Hematology (Contract)

About the role

This remote contract position seeks an experienced oncology/hematology clinician to provide expert clinical judgment on evaluation tasks related to cancer drug development. You will work 10‑40 hours per week, delivering nuanced assessments for clinical trial data and safety reports.

Key responsibilities

• Author and review evaluation tasks that require detailed clinical judgment in oncology and hematology.
• Assess the clinical defensibility of efficacy and safety conclusions, ensuring true clinical significance.
• Apply advanced judgment to dose escalation, toxicity assessment, and adverse‑event grading.
• Evaluate benefit‑risk reasoning and scrutinize management strategies.
• Identify and flag clinically implausible content while distinguishing legitimate variation.
• Provide structured, guideline‑based written rationales for non‑clinical audiences.

Required profile

• Specialist registration or board certification in medical oncology and/or hematology.
• Direct involvement in clinical trials as investigator, sub‑investigator, or sponsor‑side medical monitor.
• Hands‑on experience with trial documents such as protocols and safety narratives.
• Demonstrated excellence in written communication tailored for non‑clinical readers.
• Previous roles in medical monitoring or as a medical director on oncology/hematology programs.
