Regional Operations Manager, Central America & Caribbean

About the role

Manage day‑to‑day tour operations across Central America and the Caribbean, ensuring high performance, sustainable growth and traveler satisfaction. You will act as the key link between brand offices, local teams, CEOs (Tour Leaders), service suppliers and other company representatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop Operations and Field Staff, fostering a strong company culture and promoting G Adventures core values.
• Oversee all aspects of Field Staff management, including recruitment, scheduling, payroll, performance reviews, contracts and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure traveler health, safety and satisfaction by monitoring NPS, handling complaints and coordinating critical incident management.
• Maintain brand representation, develop new products, create efficient tour schedules and support commercial initiatives.
• Identify and implement process improvements to meet budgeted gross margins and regional overhead budgets.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in tourism operations and 3+ years in a management position.
• Advanced written and oral English and Spanish.
• Proven people‑management and project‑management experience.
• Ability to manage crises, motivate teams and work with diverse departments.
• Willingness to travel throughout the region.
