Project Manager – Global Transformation

About the role

Join Lonza’s Global Business Support Organization as a Project Manager, leading high‑impact transformation initiatives that reshape financial and business processes across multiple regions. You will work with diverse international stakeholders to deliver scalable, future‑ready operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead global transformation projects covering process migration, re‑engineering and IT implementations.
• Partner with sponsors and senior stakeholders to define scope, objectives, success measures and delivery roadmaps.
• Manage project plans, resources, budgets, timelines and risks to ensure on‑time, in‑scope delivery.
• Drive stakeholder engagement, including leadership reporting and end‑user community involvement.
• Lead business change activities such as communication, training coordination and adoption support.
• Monitor and report project performance, proactively handling changes, issues and escalations.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, third‑party vendors and global partners while maintaining robust project documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering transformation, continuous improvement or financial process projects.
• Experience leading global projects and managing complex stakeholder networks across regions and functions.
• Strong business change management capability, including rollout of new processes, communication and training coordination.
• Solid project management skills in planning, risk management, governance, budgeting and reporting.
• Recognized project‑management qualification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, APMP) or equivalent experience.
• Experience with SAP FICO/SD/MM, S/4 Hana and automation projects is preferred.
