About the role

The school CEDES Don Bosco is seeking a full‑time English teacher for secondary education. You will be responsible for planning, delivering and assessing English lessons for adolescents of various proficiency levels, fostering active participation and practical language use.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement lesson plans and teaching units adapted to secondary school curricula.
• Conduct classes, evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Create engaging, student‑centered activities that develop critical thinking and real‑world language skills.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers on interdisciplinary projects and monitor academic and personal progress of students.
• Participate in pedagogical meetings, coordinate with families and contribute to school training initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree in English Philology, Education, Modern Languages or a related field, with specific pedagogical training for secondary education.
• Certified English proficiency at least C1 level.
• Strong oral communication in both English and Spanish.
• Excellent written English for preparing materials and assessments.
• Ability to work in a team, manage classroom time and respect cultural and learning diversity.
