Production Lead NCVS TB – 12‑Month Temp

About the role

CooperSurgical, a leading fertility and women’s health company, is seeking a Production Lead for the NCVS TB line on a 12‑month temporary basis. The role is based in La Garita and focuses on ensuring smooth, compliant manufacturing operations for medical devices.

Key responsibilities

• Verify availability of raw materials for each work order.
• Manage expected production flow, including parameters, machinery, personnel, materials, and documentation.
• Process work orders on the assigned production lines.
• Check documentation for legibility, traceability, and validity.
• Report production targets, progress, and quality issues to the Production Supervisor.
• Identify equipment problems, coordinate repairs, and ensure equipment calibration.
• Track personnel training and certifications.
• Assist with weekly planning and capacity forecasting.
• Maintain effective communication with technicians, quality inspectors, and other shift leaders.
• Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices and occupational health standards.
• Update daily production entries and close DHRs as required.
• Maintain order, cleanliness, and discipline on the shop floor.

Required profile

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematics.
• High attention to detail and precision.
• Good hand‑eye coordination and corrected 20/20 vision.
• Experience on production lines and knowledge of assembly procedures.
• Familiarity with manual tools and computerized control equipment.
• Leadership, initiative, and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Basic English (optional).
