Product Manager, Tourism – Costa Rica

About the role

TTC is looking for an experienced, commercially minded Product Manager, Tourism to lead supplier sourcing, contracting and relationship management across Costa Rica. Based in San José, you will secure competitive agreements with hotels, transportation providers and Destination Management Companies (DMCs) for multiple travel brands. The role combines knowledge of Costa Rica's tourism landscape with strong negotiation skills to build supplier partnerships that deliver quality, value and exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Source, negotiate and manage supplier contracts with hotels, transportation providers and DMCs across key Costa Rican destinations.
• Lead annual rate negotiations to secure competitive pricing and terms that support commercial and margin objectives.
• Build and maintain supplier partnerships, identify and onboard new suppliers and experiences.
• Manage contracting requirements across multiple brands and product tiers, from Youth to Luxury.
• Monitor market trends, competitor pricing and emerging opportunities to inform contracting and product strategy.
• Work with product, operations, sales finance, legal and marketing teams on product development and implementation.
• Manage supplier performance, resolve service issues and ensure agreements meet company, legal, compliance and sustainability requirements.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of contracting, procurement or product management experience in the travel or hospitality industry in Costa Rica.
• Proven experience negotiating supplier contracts within Costa Rica.
• Strong knowledge of Costa Rica's hotel, transportation and ground services landscape, including pricing structures and market dynamics.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, spoken and written.
• Able and willing to travel extensively throughout Costa Rica, with occasional travel to Costa Mesa, California.
• Preferred: hotel sales experience.
