Procurement Associate / Operations Associate (Remote)

About the role

A fast-growing direct-to-consumer and retail food brand is hiring a Procurement Associate / Operations Associate to support its procurement and supply chain operations. The role works closely with suppliers, co-manufacturers, Finance, Product, Creative and internal operations teams to keep raw materials, packaging and other procurement needs accurately ordered, tracked, documented and reconciled. It is 100% remote and open to candidates living in Latin America; applications must be in English.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement for raw materials, packaging and product trials, issuing, revising and tracking purchase orders and following up with suppliers on pricing, availability, production status and delivery.
• Maintain supplier databases, track open contract balances and supplier inventory, and keep regulatory and certification records (e.g. Kosher).
• Support month-end inventory reconciliation, three-way matching and invoice reconciliation, and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Troubleshoot issues such as incorrect materials received, missing documentation or shipment discrepancies, and coordinate replacements, revised POs and packaging changes.
• Support Finance and Accounting with invoice reconciliation and audit documentation, and help identify new suppliers.
• Improve processes, build dashboards and trackers, and experiment with AI tools such as Claude to automate work.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, operations or a related field.
• Direct experience working with suppliers, vendors, manufacturers or co-manufacturers.
• Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, organization, and ability to work independently and remotely.
• Preferred: ERP experience, food/beverage or CPG background, and familiarity with BOMs and inventory reconciliation.
