Principal Cluster Lead – Central American Advisors & Consulting Services

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a senior leader to head the Advisors & Consulting Services hub in Costa Rica, serving clients across Central America, Latin America and the Caribbean. The role combines strategic advisory, data‑driven analytics and program management to help customers transform their businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engagement teams to deliver best‑in‑class insights, project deliverables and business‑focused recommendations.
• Provide subject‑matter and industry expertise, guiding teams toward creative and efficient solutions.
• Own mid‑ to senior‑level client relationships, proactively managing agendas, internal culture and relationship risks.
• Mentor and coach a growing team in Costa Rica, fostering knowledge sharing and best‑practice development.
• Act as a thought partner to clients and internal stakeholders, shaping the future direction of Mastercard’s Services organization.

Required profile

• Inspirational leader with a proven record of leading high‑performing, cross‑functional teams.
• Extensive consulting experience; familiarity with payments or financial institutions is a plus.
• Strong client‑facing skills and ability to manage complex engagements.
