About the role
Abbott is seeking a Planner II to ensure efficient, cost‑effective production and delivery of vascular products from its Zona Franca Coyol facility in Alajuela. The role focuses on supply modeling, inventory management, and cross‑functional coordination.
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain supply models based on demand forecasts.
- Own and manage distribution centre inventory and delivery, maintaining SKU target levels.
- Participate in cross‑functional teams for order‑management improvements and new product introductions.
- Collaborate with division engineers and operations on product commitments and exception management.
- Generate planning and manufacturing execution reports and ensure planning KPI metrics are met.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in planning, scheduling, inventory control, and manufacturing process improvement.
- Strong problem‑solving and continuous‑improvement mindset.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (functions, pivots) and proficient English.
