Paralegal - Virtual

About the role

Lisinski Law Firm is seeking a highly experienced virtual Paralegal to independently manage the technical execution of asylum and immigration court filings. This remote position requires a self‑directed professional who can drive case strategy, handle complex forms, and support clients throughout the immigration process.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file I‑589 and EOIR 42‑B applications in a high‑volume environment.
• Maintain dashboards to track deadlines and propose proactive legal strategies.
• Review intake notes, interview summaries, and research to develop case strategies for attorney review.
• Adjust case flow in response to immigration judges’ orders and conduct thorough file reviews before client court appearances.
• Communicate legal information to clients clearly, addressing concerns and escalations.
• Develop and refine internal workflows, scripts, and training materials for the Court team.
• Collaborate with operations teams to provide strategic insights on case processes.
• Assist with overflow attorney tasks when requested.

Required profile

• 5+ years of court filing experience, including at least 3 years with complex immigration forms.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience; strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously, identify risks, and solve procedural hurdles without extensive supervision.
